PreS-Gr 2-The first episode in the series, this 3D computer animated video features light humor, lively rockabilly music in the background, and a couple of songs sung by the characters. The colorful characters have clear voices; some sound like children while others are probably adults. The storylines, which feature the farm animals and the machinery, involve situations that teach values such as helping others and keeping promises. For instance, they help Nicki the lamb get back to her flock, a duck family find plentiful water, and Wally the lonely dam find companionship. This tale of friendship and teamwork would be an additional purchase for public libraries needing videos on farm themes or just a pleasant story to entertain young viewers.-Erin Hunt, Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, OH (c) Copyright 2010.
